Note
The Board will convene in the Sawtooth Ballroom at the District Service Center, 1303 E. Central Drive, Meridian, Idaho. Park in the parking lot on the west side of the building and enter through the Renaissance High School main entrance. In-person attendance will be subject to seats available (60). If any auxiliary aids or services are needed for an individual with a disability, please contact 208-350-5800.
The meeting shall also be broadcast live on YouTube, which can be found at the here.
Patrons who either reside in the District, are current staff members, enrolled students, or are the parent/guardian of an enrolled student may testify on agenda items during Patron Input, or make general comments during Good of the Order. Public testimony is limited to 2 minutes per speaker, and ten speakers total. Requests to speak may be submitted to the Clerk of the Board in the hour prior to meeting commencement. All requests will be shared with the Board and included in public record.
Agenda items are identified according to the West Ada School District Strategic Plan, aligning with focus areas such as communication and collaboration, personalized student success, safe & well-equipped schools, and teaching, learning, & innovation. All items on the Consent Agenda are considered Action Items which the Board may enact through a single motion and vote. Any member of the Board may ask that an item be moved from the Consent Agenda to New Business for discussion and action.

I. Call to Order
- Chair Frasure called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
II. Pledge of Allegiance
- Peregrine Elementary students led the Pledge of Allegiance.
III. Agenda Approval
- There were no changes to the agenda.
IV. Reports and Spotlights
- Dr. Bub highlighted the West Ada Staff Awards held last Friday evening, then turned the floor over to John Labbe.
- John Labbe shared highlights and accomplishments from Peregrine Elementary School during the 2025–26 school year.
- Ryan Wilhite shared Centennial High School’s second-semester highlights, including earning the National Council of Excellence Award. Mr. Wilhite then introduced the student council team, and student leaders spoke about the school’s focus on care, honor, and service, along with achievements including three National Merit Scholars, 28 STEM diplomas, and 16 AP classes offered.
- Dr. David Reinhart shared that Cathy Wright was named Manager of the Year by the Idaho Public Purchasing Association. He also highlighted the daily work of the West Ada Procurement team in supporting schools and departments.
- Dr. Bub provided background on the Superintendent Student Advisory Committee. Student members shared that they developed a Student Bill of Rights as part of the America 250 initiative and provided an overview of the advisory group.
- Renee Senander announced Nolan Kerby as the new principal of Eagle Hills Elementary School, effective for the 2026–27 school year.
- Renee Senander presented Jennifer Dunlop as the new principal of Frontier Elementary School, effective for the 2026–27 school year.
- Renee Senander presented Shay Davis as the new principal of Seven Oaks Elementary School, effective for the 2026–27 school year.
- Renee Senander presented Karen Rice as the new principal of Mountain View High School, effective for the 2026–27 school year.
- Renee Senander presented Cliff Rice as the new Chief Academic Officer, Student Success, effective July 1, 2026.

- Dave Roberts shared information on Certificates of Participation (COP), explaining the different ways school districts can fund projects and facilities. He noted that COP are sold in the public marketplace in varying amounts and terms.

- Dr. David Reinhart welcomed Miranda Carson to the podium, who spoke about current, planned, and anticipated growth in the south area. Dr. Reinhart then shared information on a proposed plan to rebuild Lake Hazel Elementary School on its existing site, which would add 250 elementary seats.
