Policies
This section lists the official policies and regulations of the West Ada School District.
Policies are enacted by the Board of Trustees in Open Session. They generally go through three readings before voted upon and, if passed by majority vote, become the official Policy of the District.
Regulations are administered by the District Administration and are overseen by the Superintendent or Designee. They can be changed at-will but must be made public at the next Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees.
Regulations must have a "parent policy" which empowers them, and will be listed herein with the designation "Regulation" and have the initials "AR" in their title.
All policies are organized into sections by function of the West Ada School District, the description of which can be seen by clicking on the corresponding header.
