- Chair Frasure began the interview process by asking each applicant to introduce themselves and share a brief overview of their background.
The Chairman of the Board will present a series of questions submitted by current trustees to go through with finalists in a round robin fashion; with each finalist given the maximum of 2 minutes to respond to each question.
- How do you define the primary responsibilities of a school board trustee, and how would you contribute to the Board's overall effectiveness in fulfilling them?
- Board members often face complex policy decisions without clear right or wrong answers. How do you approach making thoughtful, balanced decisions in those situations?
- What do you see as the most significant challenges and opportunities facing our district over the next five years, and how should the Board position itself to meet them?
- Tell us about a time you stood by a difficult decision. What made it challenging, and what did you learn from that experience?
