Meetings
The Board of Trustees can only take action while at meetings which are open to the public. Individual Trustees have no authority to act independently; all matters must be decided by the Trustees present at each meeting.

Agenda
All meetings require that an agenda be published no fewer than 48 hours in advance (unless approved by special circumstances). The agenda must include notice of any non-emergency potential actions by the Board so that they are made available for public comment.

Public Comment
All residents of the District have the right to comment in-person on Board proceedings, as does any employee or student of the District. To provide input, sign in with the Clerk of the Board prior to the beginning of any meeting. Public comment must be relevant to agendized policy items, and must not include comments, complaints or charges against any specific individual.
